Social Mapping PAU 2022-2023

That's why we actively participate in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. A stellar example of this dedication is our partnership with PT Panca Amara Utama, a leading ammonia manufacturer in Banggai, Central Sulawesi, and a subsidiary of PT ESSA Industries Indonesia Tbk. From 2022 to 2023, Ailesh played a pivotal role in designing and supporting their CSR activities.
PT Panca Amara Utama exhibits a strong commitment to community well-being through their Community Development program's four pillars: charity, infrastructure, empowerment, and capacity development. To guarantee that their initiatives target the most pressing needs of the community, they use social mapping, a collaborative process for identifying and prioritizing specific community concerns.
Recognizing the value of understanding their local communities, PT Panca Amara Utama collaborated with Ailesh in 2022-2023 to perform social mapping in Uso Village (Batui Subdistrict) and Padang Village (Kintom Subdistrict) in Banggai Regency, Central Sulawesi. This collaborative project involves conducting interviews and focus group discussions (FGDs) with a variety of stakeholders. These discussions provided useful insights into the community's needs, including the identification of key actors and vulnerable groups. Furthermore, the mapping helped to define PT Panca Amara Utama's function within the social ecosystem and evaluate the efficacy of existing CSR programs. Finally, the initiative attempted to uncover critical social concerns in both villages, opening the way for the creation of innovative and effective CSR programs suited to the community's individual requirements.
The results of the social mapping conducted in Uso Village and Padang Village provided recommendations to PT Panca Amara Utama in five areas: communication, infrastructure, economic capacity building, education, and health. These program recommendations are set to be implemented in the following year through the strategic planning and work plans of PT Panca Amara Utama.
