Water Audit PAU 2023
Ailesh supports Point 6 of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which emphasizes the importance of Clean Water and Sanitation, and acknowledges that water audits play an important role as a tool for ensuring sustainable and accountable water management. Water audits help businesses focus on essential aspects of water consumption, monitoring, and management in their operations, with the ultimate goal of enhancing clean water availability, reducing waste, and minimizing negative environmental and societal implications.
PT Panca Amara Utama completed a corporate water audit. Data for the water audit were gathered by observation, literature reading, and firm record review. The scope of data gathering included auditing water management systems, water treatment systems, wastewater treatment systems, data verification, data evaluation and analysis, and the creation of the Water Audit Report.
In addition to the management of clean water and corporate wastewater, the output from this activity also comprises program planning that the company might undertake to achieve water efficiency and reduce pollutant loads. These can serve as recommendations for the company to improve findings from the audit results, which are stated in the action plan. The produced report can also be used to meet the Green PROPER KLHK standards for water conservation.
Certainly, water audits can act as a helpful instrument or way to determine whether a system is efficient and working properly. In dealing with the complexities of today's water concerns, water audits play an important role as an evaluation tool for guiding suitable actions toward enabling inclusive and environmentally responsible growth.
