Together with Ailesh, the company is dedicated to improving environmental performance through PROPER Green (HIJAU) certification, focusing on both internal and external sustainability efforts, including biodiversity conservation initiatives.

Located in Banggai, Central Sulawesi, PT Panca Amara Utama operates in an area rich in biodiversity, home to various flora and fauna species. Among them is the endangered and protected Maleo Sengkawor (Macrocephalon maleo), a bird species deeply rooted in the local Banggai indigenous tradition of melabu tumpe. In collaboration with PT Panca Amara Utama, Ailesh has implemented a comprehensive biodiversity conservation program, which includes developing corporate biodiversity protection policies, designating conservation areas, formulating biodiversity strategies and action plans, identifying priority flora and fauna, and conducting continuous monitoring, evaluation, and reporting. This initiative also integrates ex-situ and in-situ conservation approaches for Maleo Sengkawor, in partnership with multiple stakeholders.

Through these efforts, Ailesh has successfully enhanced environmental management performance in biodiversity conservation, as reflected in PT Panca Amara Utama’s PROPER 2023 reporting. The company secured a PROPER Green certification, with a notable 38.75% improvement in biodiversity protection from 2022 to 2023.
