Ailesh played a key role in supporting a leading Oil & Gas company from the United Arab Emirates in identifying and modeling methane leaks across their onshore and offshore operations. This project was a result of a strategic collaboration between Ailesh and TerraDrone, a provider of advanced drone-based surveying and mapping solutions. By leveraging cutting-edge technology, we enabled the company to gain deeper insights into methane leakage patterns and implement more effective mitigation strategies.

Our team employed two primary methodologies: the Mass Balance Method to quantify total methane emissions and Reverse Dispersion Modeling to analyze gas dispersion patterns based on factors such as source distance, wind speed, and weather conditions. The resulting model provided critical data to enhance drone detection capabilities, including methane mass flow rates, gas concentration levels, leak coordinates, and timestamps.

Through this project, Ailesh demonstrated how technology-driven solutions can help the Oil & Gas sector reduce environmental impact while optimizing operational efficiency. Our commitment remains steadfast in assisting the industry’s transition toward more sustainable and responsible practices.
